Building Habitat Homes With Concrete

Building Habitat homes with concrete-a natural choice for building energy-efficient,affordable homes

Affordable homes built by Habitat for Humanity now exist in over 80 countries. In the United States there are 1600 regional Habitat offices (referred to as “affiliates”), with the top 200 affiliates building five or more homes each year. Their goal is to build the maximum number of homes possible with the funds they raise each year. The homes are intended for low-income families and that’s why Habitat strives to build homes that are energy efficient—so owners will spend less for energy, leaving more money for other necessities.
